Art Curriculum Overview

At Naima JPS, children are exposed to a diverse range of artists, from Andy Warhol and Kandinsky to Jacob Lawrence, Bridget Riley, and Leonardo da Vinci. Students explore the unique techniques and skills used by these artists, creating their own interpretations in various mediums, including painting, sculpture, and 3D mobiles. Design and technology lessons complement the art curriculum, allowing pupils to craft objects with moving parts. We take pride in showcasing our students’ creative achievements throughout the school, celebrating their artistic growth and expression.
